Salsa competes with Web2 apps such as Telegram and Discord and aims to make Web3 more accessible to users. The app raised $2 million in pre-seed funding in February 2023.

Ethan Fraenkel, a law and politics student, transitioned into a career in software engineering at various companies, including IBM and NHS. He founded Prograd, an algorithm-based Fintech product aimed at GenZ to help them learn about their finances. The startup raised $2.5 million in funding, and 15,000 users have learned about establishing financial goals.
