Hola! Mi nombre es Pedro Cobos, soy mexicano y actualmente trabajo para una empresa francesa que se llama Crisp<\/em>. Es una Startup de tecnolog\u00eda, y me encargo de varias cosas. Vendo el software, doy asistencia t\u00e9cnica, hago webinars, entre otras cosas. He aprendido bastante trabajando en Crisp, desde aspectos t\u00e9cnicos hasta c\u00f3mo funciona una empresa de tecnolog\u00eda a grande escala. <\/div>

\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 te interesaste en aprender programaci\u00f3n?<\/strong><\/div>

Yo decid\u00ed aprender a programar cuando viv\u00eda en una ciudad que se llama Shenzhen, que est\u00e1 al sur de China y bueno, China est\u00e1 en t\u00e9rminos de tecnolog\u00eda, s\u00faper avanzada. De hecho, Shenzhen es la ciudad m\u00e1s avanzada que he visto en mi vida y tuve la oportunidad de asistir a varios eventos de tecnolog\u00eda. En cuanto viv\u00ed all\u00e1 me empez\u00f3 a llamar la atenci\u00f3n todo lo que ten\u00eda que ver con inteligencia artificial, con blockchain y despu\u00e9s de leer un libro que se llamaba \u201cModelos\u201d, me qued\u00f3 clar\u00edsimo que la tecnolog\u00eda ya juega un papel enorme en nuestras vidas y va a aumentar. Por lo tanto, quise involucrarme porque creo que es importante que todos sepamos el impacto que puede tener en nuestras vidas. Y fue en ese momento cuando decid\u00ed aprender a programar y cambiar de industria. <\/div>

Yo vengo de un background completamente diferente. Estudi\u00e9 comercio internacional, precisamente en Brasil y en China trabajaba con cadenas de suministros. Compr\u00e1bamos cosas all\u00e1 y las vend\u00edamos en Brasil.<\/div>

Nunca hab\u00eda dado clases, pero me di cuenta que al ser profesor aprendes much\u00edsimo tambi\u00e9n. Entonces para m\u00ed ser profesor es una oportunidad de aprender mutuamente, \u00bfsabes? Transmitir conocimiento, pero al mismo tiempo retroalimentaci\u00f3n por parte de los alumnos. A m\u00ed me encanta dar clase, es de las cosas que m\u00e1s me gusta. Es una responsabilidad grande, cuando vas a ense\u00f1ar alg\u00fan tema es importante que lo entiendas a fondo para entenderlo bien, porque si no lo entiendes bien, no lo puedes explicar de una forma simple y al final ese es el objetivo, hacer que los alumnos adquieran ese conocimiento. Entonces, me ha ayudado much\u00edsimo porque primero, me da la oportunidad de reforzar el conocimiento, y segundo, si quieres aprender algo, la mejor forma que puedes hacer es ense\u00f1arlo.<\/div>

Excelente. Muchos se convierten en tus amigos y es una gran oportunidad de crear networking.  Entonces estoy muy agradecido. Yo trabajo en Crisp<\/em> gracias a un alumno. Yo le di clase, entr\u00f3 a Crisp<\/em> y me dijo \u201cHey, estamos buscando gente y me parece que tu perfil se adapta bastante a la empresa, etc\u201d. Me entrevistaron y ah\u00ed estoy. Entonces sin duda alguna yo creo que en general, el bootcamp ya seas alumno o profesor es una de las principales ventajas. El networking que tienes disponible a trav\u00e9s de esta comunidad. <\/div>

\u00bfQu\u00e9 proyectos has llevado a cabo?<\/strong><\/div>

He trabajado la mayor parte de freelance. Saliendo del Bootcamp empec\u00e9 a trabajar e hicimos una peque\u00f1a agencia de software entre uno de mis compa\u00f1eros y otra persona de Le Wagon. Trabajamos en un proyecto para una aplicaci\u00f3n en Estados Unidos que era de caf\u00e9 a domicilio, como un tipo de Uber de caf\u00e9, por as\u00ed decirlo.<\/div>

Y despu\u00e9s tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con otra alumna de Le Wagon en una Start Up francesa que era para mujeres embarazadas y ni\u00f1os en general. He hecho algunas p\u00e1ginas web, pero me he enfocado m\u00e1s en apps.<\/div>

\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 recomendar\u00edas Le Wagon y aprender a programar en nuestro Bootcamp?<\/strong><\/div>

L<\/strong>a principal ventaja que yo le veo a Le Wagon es la comunidad porque es enorme y al final del d\u00eda esa es la frase \u201cyour network is your net worth<\/em>\u201d. Yo creo que es muy cierta, hay gente de todo tipo, con todo tipo de backgrounds que constantemente est\u00e1n innovando y tienen ideas diferentes. <\/div>

El programa est\u00e1 muy bien estructurado, la forma en la que te va llevando de ser una persona que no tiene conocimientos t\u00e9cnicos, al final del bootcamp, ya puedes desarrollar una aplicaci\u00f3n, a pesar de que las primeras semanas son bastante complicadas (porque est\u00e1s aprendiendo a pensar de una forma nueva), el programa toma en cuenta eso. <\/div>

<\/div>
Yo intent\u00e9 aprender a programar por cuenta propia y no pude porque por cuestiones de disciplina me costaba mucho trabajo sentarme a estudiar y la estructura del Bootcamp me ayud\u00f3 mucho. <\/div>

<\/div>
Y por \u00faltimo, los profesores, porque otro de los problemas que tuve cuando estaba aprendiendo a programar por cuenta propia es que de repente me atoraba y no sab\u00eda, no ten\u00eda ni idea de a qui\u00e9n preguntarle o ni siquiera qu\u00e9 preguntar. Y en Le Wagon est\u00e1n los Teachers o TA a quienes les puedes preguntar y siempre va a haber alguien que te pueda apoyar, inclusive tus propios compa\u00f1eros, porque te abre much\u00edsimas puertas, yo lo veo como un super poder.<\/div>
