Pourquoi as-tu d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de postuler au Wagon Montr\u00e9al ?<\/h3>\n
\n Au d\u00e9but, j'ai commenc\u00e9 par passer un peu de temps \u00e0 apprendre le code tout seul. J'ai appris quelques petites choses, mais ce n'\u00e9tait pas suffisant. Le processus d'apprentissage \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s lent et tr\u00e8s peu structur\u00e9. Je ne voyais pas comment utiliser ces connaissances dans la vraie vie. Alors je me suis dit : soit je peux passer des jours \u00e0 apprendre des concepts... ou je peux apprendre \"comment apprendre\u201d un langage, et \u00eatre beaucoup plus efficace. J'ai fait des recherches sur quelques bootcamps et je suis tomb\u00e9 sur Le Wagon Montr\u00e9al. \n<\/div>\n

Qu\u2019est-ce qui t\u2019as le plus plu pendant le bootcamp ?<\/h3>\n
\n J'ai vraiment aim\u00e9 les m\u00e9thodes d'enseignement. Chaque matin, on d\u00e9bute par des cours magistraux d'une \u00e0 deux heures, puis on se met en \u00e9quipe de deux pour tenter de r\u00e9soudre les challenges. C\u2019est vraiment l\u00e0 que vous apprenez le plus. Lorsque vous vous mettez quotidiennement au d\u00e9fi de r\u00e9soudre des probl\u00e8mes, vous d\u00e9veloppez ce que je consid\u00e8re comme la comp\u00e9tence la plus importante en d\u00e9veloppement web - la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes. \n

\n Bien s\u00fbr, il y a toujours un enseignant pour vous aider au cas o\u00f9 vous seriez coinc\u00e9. Apprendre de cette fa\u00e7on pendant un mois et demi est un d\u00e9fi, mais c\u2019est incroyablement gratifiant. En fin de formation, vous passez quelques semaines \u00e0 appliquer ce que vous avez appris en d\u00e9veloppant une application web dans un environnement collaboratif sur un projet de votre choix. Et vous apprenez \u00e9galement \u00e0 le pitcher !\n

Est-ce que le programme a r\u00e9pondu \u00e0 tes attentes?<\/h3>\n
\n Le Wagon a largement d\u00e9pass\u00e9 mes attentes. Je n'imaginais pas tout ce qu\u2019on est capable d\u2019apprendre en seulement 9 semaines. J'ai aussi aim\u00e9 le fait que, contrairement \u00e0 d'autres bootcamps, il ne promette pas de vous trouver un emploi aussit\u00f4t le bootcamp termin\u00e9. C'est \u00e0 vous de continuer \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les comp\u00e9tences acquises et d\u00e9cider ensuite ce que vous voulez en faire. J'ai d'ailleurs profit\u00e9 des ressources du Wagon, son vaste r\u00e9seau d'anciens \u00e9tudiants et les connections professionnelles \u00e9tablies pendant le bootcamp pour trouver mon emploi. \n<\/div>\n

\n Dans mon travail actuel, j'utilise certains des langages de base appris au Wagon tels que HTML, CSS et JavaScript... bien que le framework principal utilis\u00e9 ne soit pas Rails. Le bootcamp m'a donn\u00e9 les capacit\u00e9s n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 l\u2019apprentissage d'autres langages. \n<\/div>\n

\n Apr\u00e8s le bootcamp, j'avais encore un mois avant de retourner \u00e0 mon ancien emploi \u00e0 la banque et j'ai profit\u00e9 de ce temps libre pour continuer \u00e0 apprendre. J\u2019ai gard\u00e9 la m\u00eame routine. Je me r\u00e9veillais t\u00f4t pour trouver un cours int\u00e9ressant en ligne, puis je passais la journ\u00e9e \u00e0 chercher des d\u00e9fis en rapport avec ce que je venais d'apprendre. Je pense qu'il est crucial de garder le m\u00eame \u00e9tat d'esprit afin de capitaliser sur les connaissances acquises au Wagon et maintenir l'\u00e9lan.\n<\/div>\n

\n Apr\u00e8s avoir postul\u00e9 dans plusieurs entreprises et avoir pass\u00e9 diff\u00e9rentes entrevues, j'ai r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 d\u00e9crocher un poste qui correspond \u00e0 mon envie de continuer \u00e0 apprendre. Je suis actuellement d\u00e9veloppeur web FullStack chez \n Beslogic<\/a>.\n
