Changement de voie<\/strong><\/h3>

Apr\u00e8s une licence en sociologie, j\u2019ai travaill\u00e9 pendant quatre ans dans l\u2019administration publique. Tr\u00e8s vite j\u2019ai compris que ce job \u00e9tait uniquement alimentaire et le manque de challenge m\u2019a amen\u00e9 \u00e0 repenser ma vie.

J\u2019ai toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019aise avec les ordinateurs et il \u00e9tait temps pour moi de transformer ce hobby en un m\u00e9tier.<\/strong> Je savais que le code repr\u00e9sentait une source infinie d\u2019apprentissage et que cela me donnerait la possibilit\u00e9 de travailler avec de nombreux corps de m\u00e9tiers.<\/div>
J\u2019ai donc commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 apprendre JavaScript en autodidacte, puis je me suis vite rendu compte qu\u2019il fallait que je sois accompagn\u00e9 <\/strong>pour acqu\u00e9rir des bases solides en programmation.

De l\u2019apprentissage seul \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e dans une communaut\u00e9 tech<\/strong><\/h3>

Je suis arriv\u00e9 au Wagon Lille en Octobre dernier car je voulais m'entourer de personnes qui partagent la m\u00eame soif d\u2019apprendre.

Les 9 semaines du bootcamp sont r\u00e9ellement intenses mais elles payent.<\/strong> J\u2019ai appris \u00e0 me d\u00e9passer, \u00e0 rester focalis\u00e9 sur une t\u00e2che, un projet, \u00e0 chercher la source de mes erreurs. Sur le plan technique, le Wagon a pos\u00e9 des bases solides<\/strong> sur le d\u00e9veloppement du backend et du frontend. J\u2019ai aussi surtout rejoins une vraie communaut\u00e9<\/strong> qui m\u2019a permis d\u2019avancer, m\u00eame apr\u00e8s les 9 semaines de bootcamp.

Tremplin pour une nouvelle vie<\/strong><\/h3>

A la fin du bootcamp, j\u2019ai eu la chance de pouvoir devenir Teacher Assistant puis Teacher<\/strong> pendant les batchs qui ont suivi. Cela m\u2019a permis de valider et d\u2019accroitre mes comp\u00e9tences en Ruby et en JS mais aussi de v\u00e9rifier ma p\u00e9dagogie. En parall\u00e8le, j\u2019ai travaill\u00e9 en agence et j\u2019ai entrepris des projets perso de d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019applications avec des amis.

Quelques mois plus tard, j\u2019embarquais dans l\u2019eurostar direction Londres pour travailler pour une startup Londonienne \u00e0 la pointe de la technologie en machine learning en tant que d\u00e9veloppeur Frontend JS<\/strong>. Passionn\u00e9 par le machine learning, ce poste me permet de d\u00e9couvrir d\u2019autres langages comme le Python et de m\u2019amuser avec d\u2019autres outils.
