Salut Carole. Peux-tu nous raconter ton parcours ?<\/h3>\n
\n Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 l'Ecole H\u00f4teli\u00e8re de Lausanne, j'ai travaill\u00e9 comme responsable \u00e9v\u00e9nementiel pour un groupe de luxe \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve et \u00e0 Munich. Puis j\u2019ai rejoint Impact Hub, un espace de co-working pour startups \u00e0 Zurich en tant qu\u2019Event Manager puis Project Coordinator pour l\u2019ouverture d\u2019un nouvel espace en plein centre ville. Pendant cette p\u00e9riode \u00e0 Zurich, j'ai eu l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00eatre en contact direct avec le monde de l'innovation et de rencontrer beaucoup de gens de la Tech.\n<\/div>\n

\n Apr\u00e8s 2 ans en Suisse al\u00e9manique, j'ai finalement choisi de revenir \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve aupr\u00e8s de ma famille et de rediriger ma carri\u00e8re en tant que Project Manager dans la Tech.\n<\/div>\n

Qu'est-ce qui t\u2019a motiv\u00e9e \u00e0 apprendre \u00e0 coder ?<\/h3>\n
\n De retour \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve, j'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 postuler \u00e0 des postes de gestion de projet dans l'IT. Je postulais principalement en ligne et j\u2019ai fini au dernier tour de plusieurs entretiens, mais n\u2019ai jamais re\u00e7u d\u2019offres. Je me suis vite rendu compte que mon manque de connaissances en IT \u00e9tait le principal obstacle pour r\u00e9ussir ma reconversion.\n

C'est pourquoi, j'ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de m'inscrire au Wagon avec l'objectif d'acqu\u00e9rir les connaissances techniques n\u00e9cessaires au poste que je souhaitais. Je suis convaincue que pour devenir un bon chef de projet, en particulier dans le digital, il est n\u00e9cessaire d'avoir une exp\u00e9rience pratique du code. Je voulais comprendre comment les produits num\u00e9riques sont con\u00e7us et d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s.\n

Comment as-tu trouv\u00e9 un job et que fais-tu maintenant ?<\/h3>\n
\n Apr\u00e8s Le Wagon, mes recherches ont un peu stagn\u00e9, car il fallait relancer la machine apr\u00e8s ces 9 semaines intensives de code. J\u2019ai contact\u00e9 beaucoup de personnes de l\u2019industrie sur LinkedIn pour voir s\u2019ils prenaient des profils junior. Puis par chance, Altran, une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de conseil en informatique, m'a contact\u00e9 directement sur Linkedin et m'a propos\u00e9 un entretien. Peu de temps apr\u00e8s j'ai re\u00e7u une offre de Junior Consultant. Et apr\u00e8s quelques mois, j'ai pu \u00e9voluer pour devenir chef de projet digital. Contrairement \u00e0 d'autres Alumni du Wagon Lausanne, je n'ai pas vraiment pu profiter du r\u00e9seau local car j'ai fait le 1er batch \u00e0 Lausanne. Mais je suis persuad\u00e9e que la r\u00e9putation du Wagon a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le dans mes recherches d\u2019emploi. Je me souviens qu'\u00e0 l'\u00e9poque, Le Wagon avait beaucoup de mentions dans la presse. \n<\/div>\n

Aujourd'hui en tant que Digital Project Manager, je suis amen\u00e9e \u00e0 diriger diff\u00e9rents projets digitaux. Je m\u2019assure que les d\u00e9veloppeurs d\u00e9livrent bien la solution d\u00e9finie avec les clients, tout en respectant les budgets et d\u00e9lais allou\u00e9s. Je joue principalement l\u2019interm\u00e9diaire entre les clients et les d\u00e9veloppeurs.\n<\/div>\n

On peut parler de salaire ?<\/h3>\n
\n Ahah! Oui, on peut. En tant que Junior Consultant, le salaire peut varier en fonction du niveau d'\u00e9ducation. Quand j'ai commenc\u00e9, j'ai eu la chance d'\u00eatre mise au niveau d'un dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 de Master soit environ CHF 80 000 brut annuel. En tant que Chef de projet, on parle ensuite de salaires autour de CHF 100 000 brut annuel et plus. Bien s\u00fbr, \u00e7a varie selon l\u2019entreprise, l\u2019exp\u00e9rience professionnelle et son pouvoir de n\u00e9gociation ;-) \n

\n Je me sens plus l\u00e9gitime. Je comprends ce qui se dit et communique ainsi plus facilement avec les \u00e9quipes techniques. Et je ne prends pas peur en voyant des lignes et des lignes de code !\n<\/div>\n
