C\u2019\u00e9tait l\u2019occasion d\u2019en apprendre plus sur ce m\u00e9tier, son quotidien, les \u00e9tapes pour y acc\u00e9der et l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019esprit \u00e0 avoir pour r\u00e9ussir. En plus de son travail comme Solutions Architect, St\u00e9phane enseigne l\u2019analyse de donn\u00e9es au campus de Le Wagon Montr\u00e9al (Canada).<\/span>\r\n

Apprendre \u00e0 apprendre<\/h2>\r\nIl d\u00e9crit sa carri\u00e8re comme \u00e9tant guid\u00e9e par la curiosit\u00e9 et la pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance. \u00c0 ses d\u00e9buts, il a occup\u00e9 un poste avec peu de ressources et presque aucun mentor. Plut\u00f4t que d\u2019attendre des r\u00e9ponses, il a achet\u00e9 des livres, rejoint des communaut\u00e9s en ligne et pos\u00e9 ce qu\u2019il appelle des \u00abquestions vraiment stupides \u00bb jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce qu\u2019il parvienne \u00e0 assembler les morceaux. Avec du recul, il affirme que la comp\u00e9tence la plus pr\u00e9cieuse qu\u2019il a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e \u00e9tait simple mais forte : <\/span>apprendre \u00e0 apprendre.<\/b>\r\n\r\nCet \u00e9tat d\u2019esprit, qui consiste \u00e0 <\/span>voir chaque d\u00e9fi comme une opportunit\u00e9 d\u2019apprentissage<\/b>, l\u2019a finalement men\u00e9 vers l\u2019architecture de solutions. Ce r\u00f4le, explique-t-il, ne consiste pas seulement \u00e0 construire des syst\u00e8mes. Il s\u2019agit aussi de traduction : transformer les besoins d\u2019affaires en solutions techniques et s\u2019assurer qu\u2019elles soient \u00e9volutives, durables et centr\u00e9es sur l\u2019humain.<\/span>\r\n

L'importance de la communication<\/span><\/h2>\r\nEn tant que Customer Solutions Architect, St\u00e9phane travaille \u00e0 l\u2019intersection des ventes et de la livraison, en veillant \u00e0 ce que les clients se sentent compris d\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re conversation jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre. C\u2019est un \u00e9quilibre entre expertise technique, communication et empathie, un r\u00f4le qu\u2019il d\u00e9crit \u00e0 moiti\u00e9 en plaisantant comme \u00e9tant celui d\u2019un \u00ab th\u00e9rapeute de donn\u00e9es \u00bb.<\/span>\r\n
\u00ab <\/span>Une comp\u00e9tence essentielle que je recommande \u00e0 tous les ing\u00e9nieurs est la communication. La traduction entre les mondes technique et non technique est ce qui vous rend efficace. <\/span><\/i>\u00bb<\/span><\/blockquote>\r\n

Les comp\u00e9tences cl\u00e9s au-del\u00e0 du code<\/h2>\r\nCe qui ressort de son parcours, c\u2019est un engagement constant envers <\/span>l\u2019apprentissage continu<\/b>. Les certifications, les rencontres, l\u2019\u00e9criture et l\u2019enseignement font tous partie des moyens qu\u2019il utilise pour rester \u00e0 jour. Son exp\u00e9rience rappelle que <\/span>les carri\u00e8res en technologie ressemblent moins \u00e0 une \u00e9chelle qu\u2019\u00e0 une toile, tiss\u00e9e d\u2019exp\u00e9riences vari\u00e9es qui renforcent \u00e0 la fois les comp\u00e9tences techniques et humaines<\/b>.<\/span>\r\n
\u00ab On n\u2019apprend pas seulement dans un bootcamp. On n\u2019apprend pas seulement \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9.
