"On day one, everyone was both excited and nervous. 9 weeks is quite a commitment and I think we all have certain expectations. Prior to starting the Bootcamp I worked as a project manager and online marketer in a full service agency,  so I knew a bit about the core concept of programming, but I never actually did it before.

I was really surprised at how nice and helpful everyone was, both teachers and classmates, even from the first day. All of them were welcoming and as classmates, it seems we’ve stuck together early on in the program. It was smooth sailing and we kicked things off with set up and getting acquainted with each other.

Le Wagon Bali Batch #306

After a few days into the program, you realize that you’re learning the basics of programming in three weeks, which you would normally take a year to learn at the start of a bachelor degree.
Everything is going a bit fast and you catch yourself feeling a little overwhelmed from time to time, but the teachers make it their mission to  help you and keep you motivated.  I have to mention again I’m a complete newbie when it comes to coding, so not everyone is experiencing the same feelings as me! Nevertheless,  the atmosphere here at the school is amazing and even when you’re feeling stretched thin, you can always take a short break and enjoy the great view of Bali - which helps a lot with problem solving.

Even though it’s harder than I expected, the first week was fun and we learned quite a lot. It may sometimes feel like you can’t think about anything else than code, but I’m really glad I chose to do the Le Wagon Bootcamp."
