O que te fez vir estudar no Le Wagon?<\/strong><\/h3>\n
\n Eu trabalhei como engenheiro por 4 anos antes do Le Wagon. Eu vivia aquela vida tranquila que nossos pais sonhavam pra gente com um emprego aparentemente est\u00e1vel das 9 at\u00e9 as 6 da tarde. Em junho de 2016 eu fui demitido. A empresa onde eu trabalhava estava em vias de ir \u00e0 fal\u00eancia e teve que demitir todo mundo. Pra mim foi um choque. \n

\n Eu nunca experimentei uma mudan\u00e7a t\u00e3o dr\u00e1stica na minha vida, mas em vez de buscar um emprego similar, percebi que era hora de buscar uma mdan\u00e7a. Como todo jovem desempregado motivado, tinha mil ideias que talvez pudessem fazer de mim o pr\u00f3ximo Zuckerberg e agora finalmente eu tinha o tempo livre para correr atr\u00e1s delas! Ideias no papel, amigos na mesa e motiva\u00e7\u00e3o. O que mais eu precisava? Bom, estava faltando um detalhe: eu n\u00e3o sabia como transformar ideias em produtos. Eu e meus amigos n\u00e3o sab\u00edamos como escrever uma linha de c\u00f3digo. Eu estava longe de ser o pr\u00f3ximo Zuckerberg!\n

\n Como acho todo aluno, tinha medo de n\u00e3o ser capaz de me tornar um programador. Mesmo tendo um background t\u00e9cnico, programa\u00e7\u00e3o era algo bastante novo pra mim. Antes do bootcamp come\u00e7ar, cada aluno deve concluir um pequeno curso online de Ruby, o que na verdade ajudou bastante. \n

\n O bootcamp \u00e9 muito bem estruturado, de um jeito que voc\u00ea cresce linha por linha, exerc\u00edcio por exerc\u00edcio. Voc\u00ea realmente tem essa sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de que est\u00e1 indo melhor a cada dia. A metodologia funciona mesmo e \u00e9 incr\u00edvel como voc\u00ea ultrapassa todas as expectativas.\n

Qual foi a melhor parte do bootcamp?<\/strong><\/h3>\n
\n Na sexta semana do bootcamp, quando toda a m\u00e1gica acontece e voc\u00ea come\u00e7a a trabalhar com o Rails pela primeira vez. Cada linha de c\u00f3digo que a gente escreveu antes passa a fazer sentido. \u00c9 quando voc\u00ea se d\u00e1 conta que pode desenvolver um app de verdade! \n

\n Eu tamb\u00e9m amei o sistema de pares (buddy system). Todo dia voc\u00ea tem que se sentar com um colega diferente, trabalhar com ele ou ela durante todo o dia. \u00c9 extremamente importante! Se voc\u00ea n\u00e3o sabe algo, tem sempre algu\u00e9m pra te ajudar antes de voc\u00ea chamar um professor. Ensinar algu\u00e9m \u00e9 a melhor maneira de aprender. \n<\/div>\n

Gostei da ideia tanto que comecei a trabalhar na ideia no primeiro dia ap\u00f3s o bootcamp. Nosso professor, Jean-Baptiste Feldis, tamb\u00e9m adorou isso e se juntou a n\u00f3s e convidou mais um amigo, Helio Ribeiro. Demos ao projeto o nome de \"Luvotels\".\n

Could you please tell us how was your journey one year after Le Wagon?<\/strong><\/h3>\n
\n After the bootcamp ended, I worked on the \n Luvotels.com<\/a> platform with my former teacher Jean-Baptiste for the following months. In July 2017, we applied for the biggest startup acceleration program in Portugal (4th in Europe) called Lisbon Challenge. More than 200 startups applied and only 8 were selected - including us! After 3 months of intense work during the acceleration, we won the Lisbon Challenge and received investment from 4 different Investors.\n

\n Nine months after Luvotels was born during LeWagon, we were already evaluated in more than \u00e2\u201a\u00ac1M. Everything happened unbelievably fast.\n

\n Besides Luvotels, I also work regularly as a Teacher Assistant for Le Wagon. No matter how busy I am, I always have time to help students and the community!\n
