 Sempre que parecia perdido, lembrava de \u201cacreditar no m\u00e9todo\u201d.

O que voc\u00ea estava fazendo antes do bootcamp do Le Wagon? <\/h3>

Bem, eu fiz faculdade de oceanografia e sou militar, trabalho no Centro de Hidrografia da Marinha. L\u00e1, eu j\u00e1 tinha alguma experi\u00eancia com programa\u00e7\u00e3o, mas como era autodidata, meus c\u00f3digos ainda eram bem amadores. Comecei o bootcamp pois queria ter uma melhora profissional, aumentar a qualidade do que eu estava fazendo no trabalho.

Na Marinha, participo de um projeto que utiliza boias que ficam no oceano coletando dados meteorol\u00f3gicos e oceanogr\u00e1ficos em tempo real. Informa\u00e7\u00f5es que s\u00e3o muito importantes para a seguran\u00e7a da navega\u00e7\u00e3o e para a previs\u00e3o meteorol\u00f3gica no mar. Por conta pr\u00f3pria, optei por fazer o bootcamp de Web Development. Queria trazer esses dados para um campo mais visual e acess\u00edvel ao p\u00fablico geral.

E como conheceu o Le Wagon?<\/h3>

O Adriano Wiermann, tamb\u00e9m ocean\u00f3grafo, foi aluno do primeiro batch do Brasil, l\u00e1 em 2016, e deu um feedback super positivo. Desde ent\u00e3o, v\u00e1rios outros colegas de profiss\u00e3o tem foram estudando no Le Wagon e sempre tiveram sucesso profissional.

O que nos surpreendeu foi que, como poucos cursos, o Le Wagon se destaca por ser quase imposs\u00edvel n\u00e3o conseguir um emprego na \u00e1rea ap\u00f3s complet\u00e1-lo. Depois de ver tudo isso, eu e minha esposa, tamb\u00e9m ocean\u00f3grafa e militar do Centro de Hidrografia da Marinha, resolvemos fazer o bootcamp juntos.

Como foi fazer o bootcamp junto de sua esposa?<\/h3>

Foi a melhor experi\u00eancia poss\u00edvel. Entramos juntos e passamos pelos mesmos desafios e ang\u00fastias. Mas tamb\u00e9m conseguimos tornar a nossa experi\u00eancia mais relaxante.  Em muitas sextas, nosso programa de fim de semana era colocar a aula na TV, abrirmos uma cerveja, e nos prepararmos para o bootcamp do s\u00e1bado, que acontecia durante o dia inteiro.

No pitch night, noite de apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o dos projetos que v\u00e3o ser desenvolvidos, tivemos uma ideia em conjunto e decidimos que eu iria apresentar. Por\u00e9m, na hora da distribui\u00e7\u00e3o dos grupos, ela acabou sendo encaminhada para outra equipe, com um projeto totalmente diferente. Pode n\u00e3o parecer, mas achamos isso \u00f3timo. Cada um aprendia conceitos diferentes em seus times, e quando cheg\u00e1vamos em casa, ensin\u00e1vamos todo o aprendizado do dia, um para o outro.

Voc\u00ea optou por fazer os 2 bootcamps, de Web Development e o de Data Science, como isso aconteceu?<\/h3>

Estava curtindo muito o bootcamp de web, e resolvi dar uma olhada na ementa de Data Science tamb\u00e9m. Gostei muito e vi que tinha mais rela\u00e7\u00e3o com meu trabalho. Por isso, ap\u00f3s terminar o bootcamp de Web Development, comecei no bootcamp que me transformaria em um cientista de dados e ele atendeu completamente as minhas expectativas.

Voc\u00ea recomenda que as pessoas fa\u00e7am os 2 bootcamps do Le Wagon?<\/h3>

Acho que depende muito do que a pessoa quer para a pr\u00f3pria vida. Minha esposa por exemplo, n\u00e3o quis fazer o bootcamp de Data Science pois preferiu se aprofundar mais no universo da desenvolvimento web. No meu caso, considerava que o que eu tinha de conhecimento de web j\u00e1 seria bastante para me apoiar no meu foco principal, que era o Data Science. Sinto que sou um profissional mais completo agora, ap\u00f3s completar os dois bootcamps.

E qual foi o maior desafio? <\/h3>

O maior desafio foi conciliar o bootcamp com o meu trabalho: tive que ter bastante responsabilidade. Chegava do trabalho e ia estudar, e quando estava chegando perto do Demo Day - dia da apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o do projeto final<\/a> - eu codava quase todos os dias. Precisei de bastante disciplina, mas no final, tudo deu certo. Sempre que parecia perdido, lembrava de \u201cacreditar no m\u00e9todo\u201d.

Como assim, \u201cacreditar no m\u00e9todo\u201d?<\/h3>

Era muita informa\u00e7\u00e3o, n\u00e3o dava tempo de absorver e ficar pensando sobre o que eu havia aprendido. Um dia eu era apresentado para um novo conceito, e no dia seguinte tinha que aplic\u00e1-lo para poder conhecer outro, e isso se repetia sempre. Em alguns momentos, me sentia at\u00e9 um pouco desorientado, sem saber se estava absorvendo tudo, mas eu revi o conte\u00fado tantas vezes durante os 6 meses, que no fim do bootcamp me encontrei e percebi que sim, havia absorvido tudo e estava pronto para colocar meu aprendizado em pr\u00e1tica!<\/div>
