Tech education across Canada: Montreal campus and remote training programs

Whether you’re based in Montreal or anywhere else, the Tech & AI Fluency Fund makes quality tech education accessible. Le Wagon Canada offers:

  • In-person bootcamps at the Montreal campus for immersive, collaborative learning
  • Online bootcamps with live instruction and support, available on the Eastern time zone

This flexible approach to tech training ensures that financial aid reach motivated learners regardless of location, supporting both career changers transitioning into tech and professionals upskilling in high-demand fields like AI and data science.

Le Wagon’s mission is removing barriers to tech education

To qualify, applicants complete a two-step process:

  1. Submit an application, outlining their motivation and career goals.
  2. Complete the admissions interview and assessment, which will help determine the scholarship amount awarded.

Scholarships of up to 50% will be granted depending on each candidate’s profile, motivation, and potential impact.

This initiative builds on Le Wagon’s commitment to making tech training accessible to people from underserved or underrepresented backgrounds, and to those facing financial, geographic, or systemic barriers.

Why upskilling in tech has become essential

With AI reshaping industries at unprecedented speed, the need for digital and technical skills has never been more urgent. Our recent white paper: Navigating the Canadian Job Market highlights several key trends:

  • Job postings in the field of AI increased from 4,000 in 2012 to 57,000 in 2024, a 15-fold increase over twelve years (PwC)
  • Employment in technology occupations in Canada is expected to grow 1.77 times faster than the national average over the next decade (CompTIA)
  • Demand for AI/Big Data and technological literacy skills will increase the most by 2030 (World Economic Forum)

As companies across all sectors integrate automation, data tools, and AI systems, professionals who invest in tech upskilling significantly improve their employability and long-term career resilience. For those concerned about training costs, this bootcamp scholarship makes our tech training accessible.

“Access to tech and AI skills shouldn’t depend on someone’s financial situation or background. With this scholarship program, we want to make career transformation truly accessible and ensure more people can enter the industries shaping our future.”

— Antoine Ayoub, Co-founder, Le Wagon Canada
