Kickstarting your career with Le Wagon
With 93% of our graduates successfully landing a job, we are proud to be a reliable career accelerator and empower them to make significant career changes.
Not only do most of our students find employment in less than 3 months, they also achieve above-average salaries, with compensations reaching 5.9 million yen on average for Data Science and 4.7 million yen for Web Development graduates.
In addition, Le Wagon also provides opportunities for new employment – 10% of our graduates who landed a job were not employed before the bootcamp.
A coding bootcamp for everyone
At Le Wagon, we believe that anyone can break into the tech and data industry. Our students’ ages range from 18 to 55 years old, and they come from more than 50 different countries.
We recognize the need for greater representation, particularly in Japan where the number of women in tech remains below 20%. In H1 2022, we have welcomed 34% of women into our part-time and full-time bootcamps, and continue our efforts to promote gender diversity in tech.
Transitioning to a career in tech also provides more flexibility in terms of workplace and schedule: COVID drastically changed the in-office work culture, both around the world as well as in Japan, and more than 70% of our graduates enjoy remote working environments.
In H1 2022, 11% of our students were able to follow our bootcamps fully remotely. This option, now available for our part-time courses, provides an opportunity for those who may not be able to attend in-person sessions to balance their educational journey with other commitments.
They keep learning and growing
Throughout our bootcamps, we equip our students with the essential tools to build full-scale web applications from scratch, or work on data science projects from data collection to model packaging. However, we also emphasize the importance of continuous learning after the program’s completion.
With access to a rich library of resources and a strong 21,000+ alumni community support, our graduates keep honing their skills and expanding their horizons. 87% of them learned more than one additional skill or technology after graduating.
Many of our alumni find themselves inspired to explore entrepreneurial paths, with 10% regularly offering freelance services. We are proud to see many turning their new skills into thriving projects, whether it’s a hackathon pitch, business expansion or a new web accessibility community launched.
