We recently caught up with Vicky, Katell, Clémence, and Nour — four Le Wagon alumni
One of the things that makes Le Wagon unique is that our Career Services are fully integrated into the bootcamp experience. From your very first week, you’re paired with a career advisor who gets to know your personal goals, background, and where you want to take your career. Whether you’re a complete beginner or transitioning from another field, your advisor helps guide you through every step of the job search process — crafting your CV, preparing for interviews, and optimizing your LinkedIn profile for tech roles.
Marta, our Career Services lead, explained during a recent webinar:
“We tailor everything to the student. Some people need to start from scratch with their CVs, while others just need a few tweaks. Our goal is to make sure everyone feels confident and prepared when they start applying.“
Beyond the 1-on-1 coaching, when you join Le Wagon, you also get access to a network of over 26,000 alumni. This global community is one of the biggest advantages of being part of Le Wagon. Whether it’s through our dedicated Slack channels or career events, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with fellow alumni working in tech companies all over the world. Can you imagine being just one message away from a community of 26,000 people?

Seb Labette, one of our graduates, shared how this network helped him break into tech: “After I finished my bootcamp, I posted my CV in the Le Wagon
Slack, and within days, I had connections in tech companies. My CV got straight to hiring managers, skipping past recruiters.”
Don’t underestimate the power of a referral. Corporate job postings typically receive around 250 applications on average, making it super difficult for hiring teams to efficiently sort through candidates. Many companies prefer hiring through trusted networks rather than sifting through hundreds of applications and having Le Wagon’s community behind you makes a huge difference. You will have access to 26,000+ potential referrers.
Our Career Services support doesn’t stop once you’ve completed the bootcamp. Graduates have lifetime access to all of our career resources, workshops, and the alumni network. So whether you’re looking for your first tech job or making a career move a few years later, we’re still here to help.
Our career services include workshops on everything from technical interview prep to dealing with imposter syndrome, as well as one-on-one career coaching. As Marta notes, “You can attend as many events as you need, and if you ever want to practice a mock interview or fine-tune your portfolio, we’re here for you — even years after you graduate.”
Our alumni come from all different fields: from marketing, design, sales… And that’s why our Career Services have been designed to help anyone, regardless of their background or previous experience in tech. As Marta, our Career Services lead, explained during a recent webinar:
“We work with students from incredibly diverse backgrounds—musicians, firefighters, flight attendants—you name it. What unites them is their curiosity and eagerness to learn. Whether you’re someone who’s never written a CV before or a seasoned professional with years of leadership experience, we have the tools to help you succeed.”
Our current approach is fully customizable, students can receive tailored support whether they’re starting from scratch or refining their existing skills. No matter your starting point, you will get a personalized roadmap to help you navigate your career transition.
Not all of our alumni joined our bootcamps to change or upskill their careers, many of them studied with us to pursue their dream of starting their own company or expanding their freelance work. Our Founders and Freelancers Program is designed to provide all the resources needed to thrive. With over 200 startups launched by alumni raising $1.1 billion in funding, and 2,000 freelancers currently active, Le Wagon recognizes the importance of offering specialized support to these entrepreneurial profiles.
Freelancers and founders have access to exclusive masterclasses, Q&A sessions with industry experts, and dedicated resources like successful freelancer portfolios and co-founder matching. The program is highly community-driven, with alumni actively contributing resources, hosting events, and sharing knowledge to help each other succeed. Whether you’re looking to find a co-founder, secure VC funding, or gain access to perks like discounts on essential tools, you will find that at Le Wagon we provide a thriving ecosystem for your entrepreneurial journey.
Our career services go beyond job placement, all of our students get personalized coaching and a network that keeps the opportunities coming. Whether you’re aiming to scale a freelance business, land your first tech role, or start your own company, we have built a support system that pushes you towards real outcomes. It’s not just about learning data analytics or how to code — it’s all about joining a community that sticks with you through every step of your journey. With our career services you will have access to workshops, alumni networks, and dedicated career resources. If you’re ready to make a move, this is where it all starts.
